Have a story to tell?

Everyone’s got their go-to social gathering story, and part of our mission is to provide a platform for people to share their stories. You can submit a written story to the show via email that could be read on the show by Shannon or Camille. If you have a strong interest in telling your story in person on the show, please indicate that in the body of your email.   

We want to be as inclusive as possible, but it won’t be possible to tell every story. We will do our very best to communicate with everyone. 

Submit a Written Story

This part is easy. All you need to do is email a written draft of your story to shannon@unrefinedpod.com. In the subject line reference “My Story” along with a catchy title for your story. If your story is selected, we will reach out and ask you to sign a waiver so that we can read your story on the show and communicate the air date.

The list below is a general overview of the episode topics that we are currently working on. If you’ve got a great story that fits into any of these categories, please share them with us. If you’ve got a great story that doesn’t fit these categories, we still want to hear it, so send it over!

Story Sharing FAQs

Can you share my story without using my name?

Yes, you can remain anonymous. Please indicate your preference to remain anonymous in your email. 

Does it matter how long my story is?

Not really. We are happy to read longer stories if they are really great. With that being said, we would consider a 20-minute story to be on the long end of average. 

What if I have a great story, but it doesn’t fit one of the categories listed above?

Send it on over! It may not make it on the show right now, but it could inspire future episode topics.
